EMS Summit

Overview: Emergency responders (EMS) are on the front line of all disasters and medical emergencies in our state. The federal government has been providing funding to South Carolina to enhance the state’s preparedness level. This two-day conference has been designed to bring emergency responders together for updates on response skills and techniques, to provide networking opportunities, and to provide EMS with opportunities for interaction with other responders from fire, law, hospital, and public health organizations. Participants will take part in a mass casualty exercise that provides training on response skills across agencies and enhances our state’s overall preparedness by improving the skills of all those participating.

Location: South Carolina Hospital Association’s Conference Center, Columbia
