From all Points North Via I-85 South
On I-85 South take exit #27, turn left onto Hwy 81 South. Continue to follow 81 south until you see the Anderson County Museum, turn left on to McDuffie Street. You will see the library on your left.
From I-85 North From Atlanta
On I-85 North take exit #19A in South Carolina, which is Clemson Blvd(US-76/SC-28 East). Continue to follow Clemson Blvd, which turns into Main Street. Turn left at the Eckerd's onto Greenville Street. Turn right onto McDuffie Street before the Anderson County Museum. You will see the library on your left.
From Honea Path, Greenwood, Laurens, and Points East Via US-76 West
Follow US-76 West To Anderson, turn right on McDuffie Street. Follow McDuffie Street for six(6) block. The library will be on your right.
From Points South Via US-29 North
Follow US-29 North. US-29 North splits right outside of Anderson, take the left onto US-29 Business into downtown Anderson. When road dead ends turn left at red light. Then turn right onto River Street. Then turn left onto McDuffie Street at next red light. Follow McDuffie Street, the library will be on the right. |

The SCHA Headquarters is located just NW of the intersection of I-20 and
I-26 in Columbia. The address is 1000 Center Point Road, Columbia, SC 29210
From Charleston: Go west on I-26 and take Exit 106B. Take first right off of exit and then take another right onto Burning Tree Road (frontage road). (You will be facing Chuck E Cheese before you take this turn). Go approximately 1/3 mile. Turn left into Center Point onto Center Point Road. Take immediate left and the SCHA headquarters and parking will be on your left.
From Greenville/Spartanburg: Take I-26 East (toward Columbia). Take Exit 106 and turn left onto St. Andrews Road. Cross the bridge. Take a right at the traffic signal onto Burning Tree Road (frontage road). Go approximately ½ mile. Turn left into Center Point onto Center Point Road. Take immediate left and the SCHA headquarters and parking will be on your left.
From Florence: Take I-20 West to I-26 West toward Spartanburg. Take the 1st exit -106B. Take 1st right (you will see Chuck E Cheese) and then take the next right on to Burning Tree Road. Go approximately 1/3 mile, turn left into Center Point onto Center Point Road. Take an immediate left and the SCHA headquarters and parking lot will be on your left. |

Driving Directions:
From Aynor: Take Highway 501 South to route 22 east. Exit Route 22 onto 701 South. Go 2.6 miles and turn right onto Industrial Park Road. The office is approximately ½ mile on the right.
From Loris: Take Highway 701 South past Route 22, past the SC Highway Department and past the Department of Motor Vehicle office. From Route 22 to Industrial Park Road is 2.6 miles. Turn right onto Industrial Park Road. The office is approximately ½ mile on the right.
From Georgetown: Take Highway 701 North (turns into Fourth Avenue) proceed through Conway to Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and take 5.5 miles out ot town past the US Post Office and HTC. Turn left onto Industrial Park Road. The office is approximately ½ mile on the right.
From Myrtle Beach: Take Highway 501 bypass North, cross over the bridge into Conway. At the fifth stoplight (Applebee’s will be on the left), turn right onto Mill Pond Road and follow the Highway 701 signs. Proceed to the second light or Highway 701. Turn left onto Highway 701 (Main Street) and go 3.6 miles past the Post office on the right, through the light and past HTC. Turn left onto Industrial Park Road.The office is approximately ½ mile on the right.
The Horry County Department of Health is in the same county community service complex as the J Reubon Long Detention Center, Department of Social Services and the Agricultural Facility.
Volunteers are advised to use the West entrance. From the front of the building, the west entrance is on the left side of the building. Enter the administrative reception area to sign in.

From Greenville

From 17 South:
Follow the sign for Route 21: Beaufort. Continue on Route 21 towards “Historic Beaufort". You will see signs for the Beaufort Town Center & the Welcome Center. You will then pass the Beaufort County Municipal Complex. Make a right turn at that light on to Ribaut Road. The College Building #22 will be on your right, approximately another 2 traffic lights.
From 170 coming from Hilton Head:
Proceed to Route 21{Boundary St}, make a right, continue past the Town Center, make the right turn at the light immediately past Beaufort County Municipal Complex, follow Ribuat Road as above. Registration/Breakfast will be in Building #22.
