Kristin Cochran MHA
Kristin Cochran, MHA, is the Director of Recruitment and Retention Programs for the South Carolina AHEC. Kristin received her Master in Health Administration at the Medical University of South Carolina and is a graduate of the University of Mississippi’s Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College where she completed her Bachelor of Business Administration. For more than ten years, Kristin has worked for the South Carolina AHEC in various roles including as a coordinator for the federal South Carolina AHEC Disaster Preparedness and Response Training grant and as the student services coordinator for South Carolina AHEC’s Health Professions Student Program. In this role, she collaborated with health professions programs in the state to provide community-based education to health professions students. Since 2011, Kristin has administered the South Carolina AHEC Recruitment and Retention Programs and served as a liaison to the state’s Graduate Medical Education Programs. She strives to further AHEC’s mission to ensure access for all South Carolinians to quality health care providers in rural and underserved areas of the state.
