Dr. Brown is a licensed clinical social worker and was a Distinguished Faculty Emerita from the University of South Carolina’s College of Social Work. She was the leader in the development of the Graduate Certificate in Military Mental Health in the College of Social Work. She has a long history in practice within the field of substance use disorders. She has done extensive training throughout the state on issues impacting Military and Veteran personal and their families, as well as trainings on
advanced clinical practice in the area of Substance Use Disorders. Dr. Brown currently provides supervision to LMSW’s who seek advanced clinical licensure
