Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
Use STEPS model to prescribe contraception.
Understand implications of prescribing contraceptives in patients with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), medication interactions and impact of substance abuse and fertility.
Describe impact of viral load counts and perceived risk of transmission during intimate contact.
Explain cervical & anal cancers and STI screening recommendations for high risk patients.
Discuss the use of Depo Provera for contraception.
