Description: Secondary hypertension remains a major component of uncontrolled high blood pressure in the clinical setting. While the reasons for secondary hypertension are known, the consideration in clinical practice remains a burden. This SCHOOLS presentation will review the current definition and protocols on the diagnosis of secondary hypertension, and will describe the impact outcomes with current recommended treatment and prevention guidelines.
