Jessica Winters CPD
Jessica Winters is the Regional Long Term Care Ombudsman at the SC Appalachian Council of Governments in Greenville, SC. She is a graduate of Lenoir Rhyne University in Hickory, NC. Jessica has been with the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program for 20 years serving in several roles until she became regional supervisor in 2013. She is a strong senior advocate and is committed to ensuring residents of long term care facilities are aware of their rights and are treated with dignity and respect. She is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner and has a passion for educating facility staff, family caregivers and the community about how to better serve and care for people living with dementia. Jessica lives in Taylors, SC with her husband and son.
