Russell Rich MA

Russell Rich is the Director of Community Relations for Adult Advocacy and servers as a member of the Executive Management Team at the South Carolina Department of Social Services. Mr. Rich is also the Law Enforcement and Hospital Liaison for Adult Advocacy. Mr. Rich also serves on many community service and interagency boards around the state and is dedicated to improving communication and collaboration between agencies and community partners to improve service coordination and delivery for vulnerable adults in the State of South Carolina. He holds a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University, a Bachelors in Psychology from Columbia International University, and an Associates in Public Service from Midlands Technical Collage. Mr. Rich has more than 30 years’ experience in the Human Services Field, working in a verity of areas with diverse clients. Mr. Rich has served as the Assistant Director for Crosswell Children’s Home, the Clinical Director for Epworth Children’s Home, and the Administrator for New Directions Therapeutic Transitional Living Program in Huntsville, Alabama. Mr. Rich has been married to his wife Mandy for 20 years and they have three children and a granddaughter. Mr. Rich’s philosophy is that we should always leave people better than when you found them.
