Joe Vuthiganon DMD, FAGD
Dr. Joe Vuthiganon is an Associate Professor in the Department of Reconstructive and Rehabilitation Sciences at the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine, part of the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from MUSC and completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After returning to Charleston, he joined the MUSC faculty full-time. Dr. Vuthiganon leads the Curriculum Committee and teaches several dental courses. Outside of work, he enjoys the performing arts, particularly musicals, and spending time at theme parks.
