R. Patrick Pellicer LPC, LAC, LPCs
Patrick was born in Greenville, but raised in the Midlands of South Carolina. He has lived in Los Angeles
California, Jiangmen China, Glasgow Scotland, and as a boy, in Makati City Philippines, as well New
Orleans. He liked the University of South Carolina so much, that he went there for college twice. He
graduated with a undergraduate degree in Intensive English Writing, and a Masters in Rehabilitation
Counseling. Following his 2010 graduation, he went to work for Vocational Rehabilitation in the Camden
Area, working on a psychiatric, deaf and hard of hearing, and disability and special needs caseload. This
was followed by a three year stint working as a drug counselor for Morris Village Alcohol and Drug
Addiction Treatment Center, for the South Carolina Department of Mental Health. He has been working
privately since 2015, and current works for his wife at their shared private practice in West Columbia,
that opened in 2018. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor, as well as a Licensed
Addiction Counselor. He is a practitioner of EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Therapeutic
Hypnosis. He has had involvement in, and experience with, 12 Step Fellowships for the last 34 years.
