Zuri Gilbert SSA
Senior Special Agent – Special Victim Unit, South Carolina Department of Corrections. SSA Gebert is a Greenville native and graduate of the University of South Carolina -Upstate. She started her law enforcement career in 2018 with the Greenville Police Department as a Uniform Patrol Officer later joining the Neighborhood Engagement Team. SSA Gebert is a certified Crisis Negotiator and was a member of the GPD Crisis Negotiation Team. SSA Gebert's heart and passion for SVU related investigations, led her to accept a position with SCDC- Office of Inspector General- Special Victims Unit in 2022. She was promoted to Senior Special Agent over the unit in 2024. Her investigative case load consists primarily of Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) allegations, Staff Sexual Misconduct, Sextortion, Harassment, ICAC Cyber Tips, and Possession of CSAM cases. SSA Gebert is also a task force officer for the SC Attorney General's ICAC Task Force and often gets the privilege of participating in undercover chat operations throughout the state.
