Shannon Scott BSN, RN, SANE-A, SANE-P
Born and raised in Anaheim, California, Shannon Scott is the Forensic Nurse Examiner Program Coordinator for McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC. She spent her early nursing career in ED and trauma and has been a forensic nurse examiner for the past 14 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Kaplan University and her Adult/Adolescent (SANE-A) and Pediatric Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE-P) certifications through the International Association of Forensic Nurses. In early 2021, her article, Identifying Human Trafficking Victims in the Pediatric and School Nurse Practice Setting, was published in Pediatric Nursing.
