Lindsey Longshore MSN, RN, CMSRN, AOEE, CSPHA
Lindsey Longshore has been a Registered Nurse for 15 years. In 2011, she obtained her BSN in Nursing from Newberry College. She began her nursing career in Medical Surgical Nursing, becoming certified in 2015. Lindsey transitioned into nursing quality and magnet data collection. In this role, she realized the importance of nursing education. In 2017, she obtained her MSN in nursing education from Chamberlain College. She started teaching in the education sector involving ADN, and BSN nursing programs. During her time with nursing quality and nursing education, the importance of safe patient handling benefits to both patients and team members was evident. Lindsey currently works for Prisma Health Employee Health and is the Safe Patient Handling Coordinator for the Midlands Market. She has been in the role for 6 years. During this time, she has initiated and worked toward sustainment of the safe patient handling program at each of the midland’s campuses and multiple outpatient facilities. Additionally, Lindsey obtained her Certification as a Certified Safe Patient Handling Associate and Accredited Office Ergonomics Evaluator.
