Neal Wiggermann PhD
Neal Wiggermann is a research scientist at Baxter. For the past 13 years he has managed a biomechanics lab that performs scientific research and product testing to inform the design of the company’s medical devices. Neal has published over 25 peer-reviewed articles and has been granted over 50 patents. He is the president of the Association of Safe Patient Handling Professionals and is a Senior Editor of Ergonomics in Design. Neal received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan where he specialized in ergonomics and epidemiology of workplace musculoskeletal disorders.
