Cory Jones MD
Dr. Jones is a Pediatric Gastroenterologist at Prisma Health and an assistant professor at the University of South Carolina having completed fellowship at the University of Michigan, specializing in the intersection of clinical nutrition and patient education. An Idaho native, Dr. Jones’s approach to medicine is informed by a strong foundation in human performance, having earned dual degrees in Athletic Training and Exercise Science from Brigham Young University before attending medical school at Saint Louis University. His academic work and publications are rooted in improving health education and nutritional, reflecting a commitment to empowering trainees with clear, actionable evidence. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Jones is a devoted husband and father of three who remains an avid outdoorsman and athlete. When he isn't hiking or playing sports, he can usually be found in his workshop practicing woodworking.
