Alex Packard PharmD
Alex Packard is a clinical pharmacist in infectious diseases, working as the HIV pharmacist at the Prisma Health Ryan White Clinic. Alex works collaboratively with physicians, nurse practitioners, case managers, and other members of the healthcare team to optimize antiretroviral therapy, manage medication-related challenges, and support patients throughout their HIV, HCV, and STI care. Her professional interests include antiretroviral resistance, medication adherence, and improving access to individualized, patient-centered treatment. Alex is passionate about the role of pharmacists within the multidisciplinary care team, and the ways interprofessional collaboration can help reduce barriers and improve outcomes for people living with HIV.
