Carmen White MPH
Carmen White, MPH, serves as a Community Health Transformation Coordinator with SC Office of Rural Health. In this role, Carmen supports community health initiatives by coordinating programs, facilitating partner engagement, and advancing coalition efforts that improve population health outcomes in rural communities across South Carolina. She also assists with performance reporting, data tracking, and grant-related activities that help strengthen community-based health programs.
With a background in public health, research, education, and community engagement, Carmen is passionate about developing partnerships and implementing strategies that promote health and well-being. Her experience includes supporting NIH-funded research, training educators and community partners, facilitating workforce development initiatives, and teaching undergraduate students in health-related disciplines.
Carmen holds a Master of Public Health in Physical Activity and Public Health from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Science and Fitness Management from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University.
