Dr. Susan Richardson
Dr. Richardson has a Doctor of Health Administration degree from the University of Phoenix, a Masters in Health Sciences Administration and Bachelor of Science Health Information Management degrees from MUSC. She Is a Registered Health Information Administrator, a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, as well as a Certified Healthcare Technology Specialist. Dr. Richardson is currently a Senior Instructor at the University of South Carolina Upstate and has worked in healthcare organizations, such as acute care, long-term care, and behavioral health services for over 30+ years in North and South Carolina. She has experience working with electronic health records, management of health information, cancer and trauma registries, as well as healthcare quality and performance improvement.
