Kimberly Butler Willis MPH, CHES, CDP

 Kimberly Butler Willis is the Director of the Ryan White Wellness Center at Roper St. Francis Healthcare in Charleston, SC. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, Master of Public Health in Health Promotion, Education and Behavior, and working to complete her PhD, all from the University of South Carolina – Columbia.

She is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and has coordinated and managed sexual health and community health initiatives for over 10 years within local non-profits and large healthcare systems. As the Director of the Ryan White Wellness Center, Kimberly works with a multidisciplinary team of 25 healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive HIV and sexual health care and counseling for nearly 900 adults from seven counties along the coast of South Carolina. Since joining the center in 2014, the Ryan White Wellness Center has been nationally recognized by the Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration HIV/AIDS Bureau in 2016, 2017 and 2018 for its high quality care, patient-centered healthcare strategies, and noteworthy strategic planning and federal spending.  

Kimberly is also an adjunct Healthcare Administration Instructor for Webster University, and a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP). Her professional and academic achievements were recognized by SC Black Pages 20 under 40 in 2018.
