Andrea Abbott MD, MSCR, FACS
Dr. Andrea Abbott is a Surgical Oncologist who specializes in breast cancer, melanoma and sarcoma cancer. She is board certified in General Surgery from University of Minnesota and board certified in Surgical Oncology from Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. She has been at Hollings Cancer Center since 2015 and currently serves as the Medical Director for Quality. She is actively involved in patient centered research including the use of opioids after surgery, improving communication around surgical decision making, and her current project is working to establish support groups for all cancer patients at Hollings. When not working she loves being outside and spending time with her two boys, Jackson and Alexander.
