Steven J Savage MD
Dr. Savage is Professor and Vice Chairman of Urology at the Medical University of South Carolina and the Chief, Section Urology at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center. He received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, and completed medical school at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. His urology residency was at the Mount Sinai Medical Center and completed his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in minimally invasive urology. Prior to arriving at MUSC in 2004, he was on staff at the Mount Sinai Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. His research interests have included longstanding research in vitamin D in prostate cancer including its relevance in health care disparities.
