Lori Tisdale MSN, RN, CPN, CNE

Lori earned her BSN in 2010 from the Medical University of South Carolina. She has worked as a nurse for an inpatient pediatric hematology/oncology unit and later for outpatient clinics including GI, cardiac, genetics, pulmonology, and surgery. She then transitioned to work as a hospital educator for the outpatient clinics as well as inpatient pediatric units. Lori then went on to earn a Master’s in Nursing Education from Charleston Southern in 2016 and began teaching pediatric nursing and lifespan development at Charleston Southern University in 2018.

Lori has earned certifications, both as a Certified Nurse Educator and a Certified Pediatric Nurse. Her passion is providing safe and compassionate pediatric care for her patients and families and helping students gain comfort and appreciation for pediatric nursing. She enjoys promoting pediatric certification and has taught numerous courses to help registered nurses gain this honor.

Lori feels fortunate to call the South Carolina Low Country her home, where she and her husband have a daughter in high school and two German Shorthaired Pointers that keep them very busy.
