Description
This program will discuss ways for health care providers to incorporate reproductive life planning into patient encounters.
Objectives
At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
Discuss how to incorporate reproductive life planning into patient encounters
Identify how to assess a patient’s history to determine possible contraceptive choices.
Examine how to provide contraceptive counseling that considers women’s values, preferences and cultural beliefs.
Explain how to counsel patients on the use of contraceptive methods, including teach back.
