Description
Fed up with the lack of diversity among doctors, a medical doctor sets out to explore why only 2% of American doctors are black men and what that means for society. Black Men in White Coats is a documentary dissecting the systemic barriers preventing black men from becoming medical doctors and the consequences on society at large. Registered participants will be sent instructions on how to view the 80-minute film online (February 21-23, 2021) and later join a group discussion of the film on February 25 via videoconference.

Keywords: Social Determinants of Health, Equity, Justice, Underserved Populations
