Description
Participants will dive into the psychosocial impact of COVID-19 on PLW SUD\OUD. As well as discussing the unique service needs of individuals with opiate use disorders in the age of COVID. Intervention approaches will also be discussed in how to prevent and respond to those individuals with substance use disorders.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Name the psychosocial impact of COVID-19 on PLW SUD/OUD
  • Identify unique services needs of individuals with OUD in the age of COVID
  • List intervention approaches to prevent and respond to needs of individuals with SUD

The Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP) is a multi-year initiative supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to address barriers to access in rural communities related to substance use disorder, including opioid use disorder.
