Description: Communities leading health improvement efforts can benefit from using stories to draw out emotions and motivate partners. This interactive training provides a way of thinking through the stories by using data and working through a health equity lens to mobilize people for collective action.

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • provide equity-based guidance and technical assistance to multi-sector community health coalitions across South Carolina
  • use collective impact to identify mutually reinforcing improvement actions to achieve equity
  • ensure active engagement of those with lived experience at all levels of collective health improvement decision-making and action
  • build capacity to think through the stories by using data and working through a health equity lens to mobilize people for collective action
