Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

The participant will be able to identify the causes, complications and prevention strategies of the dental caries process.
The participant will be able to discuss oral conditions, barriers to oral health care and caries risk in children with special health care needs.
The participant will be able to identify how to perform an oral health examination, implement a preventive program and suggest techniques for optimizing oral care in CSHCN.
