Description: This recorded webinar will introduce participants to the principles of motivational interviewing and discuss how it can be employed in multiple practice settings. Introduction to best practices in approaching patients/clients who have a substance use disorder will be the primary focus. The steps in a brief SBIRT interview will be discussed and there will be a focus on the future development of skills that will improve practice.
