Description
Medical care accounts for less than 25% of a population’s health status. Other factors, including genetics, social circumstances, environmental conditions, and behavior, have significantly more impact on health. The Bench to Bedside Student Seminar Series this semester will focus on three conditions in which social determinants are contributing to health disparities in South Carolina. Join in the conversation with nationally acclaimed experts who live, teach and take care of patients in South Carolina. Everyone's help is critical to advancing influential action and thought leadership across the state and the nation. LINK TO WATCH VIDEO: https://vimeo.com/79503901/settings
