Description
This program discusses the process in referring students for educational evaluation in the school system. The process for determining eligibility for educational services and supports are also discussed.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the process involved in referring students for an educational evaluation.
  • Determine parents' and medical professional's role in the evaluation process.
  • Describe the process for determining eligibility for educational services.
  • Discuss special education procedures and supports
