Description
Participants will learn about public health core functions and essential services and explore career options within the field of public health. This course includes a pre-test, assignments, post-test and evaluation. The module objectives are aligned to South Carolina High School State Standards from the following Health Science Pathways, Human Services, and Public Health Courses: Health Science 1-5550 Foundations of Healthcare Professions, Healthcare Science 2 - 5551 Essential Healthcare Practices, Family and Consumer Sciences-1 (FACS-1), Family and Consumer Sciences-2 (FACS-2), Foundation of Public Health, and Mental Health Fitness.
