This course provides an introduction to Implicit Bias and describes efforts to assess and reduce the impact in the clinical setting.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Define Implicit Bias
  • Illustrate how Implicit Bias operates in the health care setting
  • Use online tools to self-assess individual biases.
  • Describe and demonstrate de-biasing technique.
