Description
This webinar is part 2 of 3 facilitated discussions surrounding the book "Black Fatigue: How Racism Erodes the Mind, Body, and Spirit." Prior to the webinar, participants should read pages 97-192 and identify passages/concepts that they would like to discuss from the book. Participants do not have to attend previous book club sessions in order to participate in this webinar.

Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Examine how racism erodes the mind, body, and spirit.
  • Analyze the impacts of systemic racism on the health, economic, educational, and other social outcomes for Black people.
  • Identify strategies for implementing systemic change to reduce disparities in outcomes.
