Description
This workshop offers information on providing primary care to patients at risk for suicide, identifying patients in your practice as well as information on “language matters.” Best practices and tips for integrating “micro interventions”, risk assessments and safety planning during a primary care visit will be provided.

  • Discuss the prevalence of suicide, risk factors and the role of primary care.
  • Apply best practices for screening and assessing patients for suicide risk.
