Description
My intention for our time together is to increase clear thinking, open-mindedness, and inner peace despite being surrounded by the outside world. This program will provide you with helpful tools that increase your knowledge and understanding in the areas of awareness as you learn the skills needed to be able to practice and implement paying attention to present-moment experiences, without passing judgment on yourself, others, and/or the experience itself. As you learn the many different aspects of Self-Care, and the navigation process you will become more knowledgeable about how to care for yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally. This curriculum is: A guide to mindful language, behavior, and other related principles. A manual for self-enrichment, fulfillment, and satisfaction.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Discover insights that promote a healthier mind and body, helping reduce stress more easily.
  • Identify triggers, vulnerabilities, and barriers threatening our well-being and risking burnout.
  • Analyze seven aspects of self-care and identify which areas might need a bit more attention, all through consistent, nurturing self-care routines and practices.

  • Define practical mindfulness, meditation, and informed dialectical behavioral skills to help manage ongoing feelings of emotional overwhelm, impulsive reactions, and interpersonal conflicts, ultimately fostering lasting wellness. You might consider incorporating these practices into your daily routines to enhance fulfillment and harmony in life and work, thereby improving overall life skills.
  • Describe how to include mental and physical breathing practices and therapeutic stretching exercises into your wellness routine.
