Description
How new is the "study" and development of leadership? In truth, leadership has been pondered since ancient times by philosophers the like of cicero weighing in on the tenets of a leader. This workshop will define leadership traits as well as giving participants an opportunity to complete a Leadership Assessment to assist in identifying their own leadership strenghts.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the history of leadership.
  • Define leadership.
  • Differentiate between leaders and managers.
  • Present trends in leadership.
  • Discuss characteristics and traits of leadership.
  • List chronic problems in organizations.
