This course is designed for mandated reporters and professionals who have frequent contact with children.

Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • identify mandated reporters according to South Carolina law.
  • describe statutory requirements and protections.
  • identify the role and responsibility of the mandated reporter.
  • recognize signs of possible child abuse and neglect.
  • describe when to make a report of child abuse and neglect.
