Description
This is part 2 of the IV Therapy program. This program is for those who have completed the IV Therapy Part 1 course, including the pre-test, viewing all the modules, and taking the post-test.

Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • identify anatomy and physiology of arteries, veins, capillaries, and layers of skin.
  • demonstrate selecting a vein.
  • describe complications and considerations for therapy.
  • identify IV solutions.
  • demonstrate dilation of the vein.
  • demonstrate proper tourniquet use.
