Description
The Health Careers Carnival is an interactive and educational event designed to introduce students and community members to the wide range of professions within the healthcare and public safety careers. Through engaging exhibits, hands-on demonstrations, career talks, and networking opportunities with healthcare professionals, participants will gain valuable insights into the skills, education, and pathways of the career professionals. The event aims to inspire students by showcasing the vital role each profession plays in promoting wellness, saving lives, and strengthening the healthcare system. It serves as both a learning experience and a celebration of the different and rewarding world of health and public safety careers.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate real-life healthcare scenarios at interactive learning stations.
  • Investigate healthcare and public safety careers that contribute to my community.
  • Identify the academic requirements, training programs, and essential skills needed for health or public safety careers.
