Description
Join us for our monthly seminar series for a lecture and a discussion about oral health care and its impact on a person’s overall health. I’d like you to include information on oral health in rural communities and public health in general. We will also discuss initiative in the state that are established to help patients address oral health issues.

Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Describe oral health challenges experienced by rural communities
  • Explain the relationship between oral health and overall physical health
  • Discuss collaborative solutions to address oral health challenges through a case-based approach that integrates interprofessional care models
