Description
Elevate your manual therapy skills to new heights with advanced techniques combined with corrective functional exercises, essential for tackling the most common orthopedic upper and lower extremity conditions. Go beyond conventional learning and discover multimodal approaches to facilitate personalized treatment plans that fit your patient’s activities and lifestyle. In today’s fast-paced setting, patients expect superior interventions, driving the demand for rehab professionals who can deliver accelerated, functional restoration that goes above and beyond industry standards. Experience video enhanced learning during a dedicated lab portion of the presentation that will enrich your clinical toolbox. Unlike basic techniques taught in school, this session will delve deep, unlocking leading edge solutions for difficult orthopedic conditions and leaving you armed with functional exercises and multi-plane manual therapy techniques you can tailor to any of your patients. This course will help you upgrade your skill set, and exceed patient expectations, ensuring maximum satisfaction and outcomes.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the latest evidence-based research concerning the multimodal approach to treating frequent orthopedic conditions.
  • Apply skills to correct and improve gait and motion in patients with common lower extremity conditions through implementation of evidence-based manual therapy interventions.
  • Develop tools and techniques to effectively address compensatory patterns observed in patients that will enhance function, participation in occupation, and ability to execute meaningful ADLs.
