Description
The program will provide individualized, one-on-one healthcare career coaching and planning to support participants in identifying and achieving their career goals. Participants will receive guidance on the educational pathways and training opportunities that best align with their career aspirations. The program will emphasize the growing workforce needs in rural and underserved communities, encouraging participants to consider careers that address these critical shortages. In addition, each participant's career interests, skills, and long-term goals will be assessed to develop a personalized, step-by-step action plan that outlines the educational and professional milestones needed to achieve success in a healthcare career.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Receive one-on-one healthcare career coaching and planning
  • Assess career interest and goals to create a step-by-step action plan
  • Understand the appropriate educational pathways to achieve career goals
  • Create goals that emphasize the workforce needs in rural and underserved communities
