Description
While the holidays are supposed to be something we look forward to celebrating and spending time with our loved ones, we also know this is not the case for everyone. For many reasons, the holidays can bring on additional stress, sadness and even dread.

Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Define the Internal and external factors contributing to holiday distress and fatigue.
  • Articulate the impact of seasonal affective disorder during the holiday season.
  • Discuss the influence of grief and loss throughout the holiday season.
  • Associate their self-awareness of areas of challenge for holiday stress.
  • Practice and develop coping skills for managing the stress related to the holidays.
