Description
Join us for a discussion on the health, workforce, and social factors that influence the well-being of rural communities across South Carolina. Participants will hear from leaders of the South Carolina Office of Rural Health and the Center for Community Health Alignment about the challenges facing rural populations and the collaborative efforts underway to improve healthcare access and outcomes. This session will explore strategies for enhancing patient care, highlight partnerships and resources that support rural communities, and showcase statewide initiatives focused on improving health and strengthening the healthcare workforce.

Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss strategies for enhancing patient care in rural communities.
  • Recognize the impact of health, workforce, and social factors on rural health outcomes in South Carolina.
  • Identify resources, partnerships, and statewide initiatives that support efforts to improve rural health and healthcare access.
