Description
The Mock Interview event provides students with the opportunity to practice and strengthen their interviewing skills in a realistic, professional setting. Students will participate in simulated interviews designed to help them prepare for future employment, internships, college programs, and other career-related opportunities. Following each interview, students will receive constructive feedback from professionals in their career field to help them identify their strengths and areas for improvement. This experience will also give students the opportunity to develop professional communication skills, build confidence, and learn how to effectively present themselves to potential employers. Additionally, students will have the chance to connect and network with professionals who can provide valuable insight into their chosen career fields and the expectations of the healthcare industry.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate effective verbal and nonverbal communication during a mock interview.
  • Apply professional interviewing strategies when responding to interview questions.
  • Evaluate interview feedback to identify areas for improvement.
