This SCHOOLS presentation is the sister tele-presentation to the article in the latest issue of Progressnotes, MUSC’s medical magazine. Join MUSC Health neurologist David G. Clark, M.D., and J. Sam Wiley, Jr. of the Alzheimer’s Association for an update on Alzheimer’s disease (AD) for the primary care provider. Topics to be discussed include screening tools for AD, tips for differentiating dementia due to AD from other types of dementia, community resources that are available for patients with AD and their caregivers, and pharmacological and nonpharmacological management of AD.
