This course provides an introduction to Implicit Bias and describes efforts to assess and reduce the impact in the clinical setting. CME release date November 16, 2020; expiration Date: November 16, 2023
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Define Implicit Bias
  • Illustrate how Implicit Bias operates in the health care setting
  • Use online tools to self-assess individual biases.
  • Describe and demonstrate de-biasing technique.
