Description
This course will discuss women’s legal reproductive rights. The presenter will discuss trends in reproductive rights for women and discuss health disparities in reproductive health. The presenter identifies pioneers in women’s reproductive rights and uses court decisions to drive the point of reproductive choice for all women. This program is brought to you in partnership with New Morning Foundation, a non-profit founded to reduce unintended pregnancy within a generations time. Choose Well is the initiative to accomplish this goal. In South Carolina approximately 50% of all pregnancies are unintended. Unintended pregnancies cost almost $79 million per year The average cost of providing birth control to a woman is about $250. The average cost of a baby born on MediCaid is $13,000. Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
