Participants will learn the uses of Narcan and how it is used by EMS today. They will also learn how it is applied in the field and everyday life. Narcan uses in teens specific to South Carolina will also be discussed.

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Participants will learn the uses and applications of Narcan
  • Participants will learn how Narcan is used in teens in South Carolina.
The Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP) is a multi-year initiative supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to address barriers to access in rural communities related to substance use disorder, including opioid use disorder
