Description
Participants will learn about the responsibilities of provider and patient sites and how to "present" the patient during a telehealth examination. This course includes a post-test and evaluation.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Define telehealth and telemedicine.
  • Describe benefits and challenges associated with telehealth.
  • Identify roles and responsibilities of the telehealth team at the presenting/patient and provider site.
  • Examine appropriate video etiquette for the telehealth presenter.
  • Identify steps for a live telehealth encounter.
  • Describe safe use of telehealth equipment.
